This report is recommended for any new product, specific design, modification or otherwise non-standard item. It is intended to confirm the product ordered is understood by the manufacturer and matches the item produced. The Product Specification Report is performed just prior to or at the first production run.

The report will confirm that the requested specifications or design are accurate and as ordered.  If a reference sample is available this will be matched with the intended production item about to be produced.

If materials or parts have been ordered or are otherwise present, these will be visibly inspected to compare with the intended result or reference sample. Likewise, if the packaging materials are present, they too will be checked against your requirement.

The manufacturer's ability to meet the desired completion date can also be assessed at this time.
